Yesterday, Sass handed out 300L gift cards to anyone who walked into the store. No group needed! I found these adorable footed pajamas with a multi-texture HUD. The doughnut pattern totally sold me on them. I dug through my inventory to find the rest of the doughnut themed items in this photo.
I haven’t posted in quite a while. Last fall, I made a long distance move, lived in an apartment for a while, then went house hunting. After that, it was remodel, decorate and move again! Then I spent time enjoying my new city followed by some minor health issues.
Ok enough excuses. Thanks to COVID-19 and staying at home, I’m BAAACKK!!
I’m always reminding myself not to touch my face…and to wash my hands. I found this shirt a few weeks ago. It is part of a set put out by American Bazaar as a group gift.
Magika just released this new hairstyle called Rowan. I’ve just found my new favorite braided style.
Not only is this hair new, but the HUD has been completely re-programmed. Everything loads much more quickly and the tint picker options can be imported and exported. Now you can save your favorite tints and use them again and again! More information available from the Magika group.
I don’t usually do an extra post in a day, but I had to rush this one to the blog and Flickr. It’s marvelous!
This photo shoot started with an Around the Grid in 80 Days hunt item from Lunar Seasonal Designs. The prize was a lovely goldfish bowl, which I was able to enlarge and swim inside. This rock is perfect for lounging and the goldfish and I are having a lovely visit. I’m sure it gets lonely swimming around and around by himself.
Avatar — The Silas Gallery — Tomato Avatar. I picked this up on sale at an event (I think it was Shiny Shabby) a couple months ago for a ridiculously low price. I’m sitting in the bowl, but the tomato has legs and can walk around.
Salad Bowl — What Next — Palisades Salad Bowl (enlarged for the photo shoot)
It all started with the skirt. I unpacked a recent marketplace purchase from sYs and remembered a top I have that would go with it perfectly. Then I dug out the boots from the back of my closet. Somehow I thought I needed a tiger and a jungle backdrop. I think I just needed to wash some cuteness out of my system after yesterday’s Mary Had a Little Lamb.
Today Mellwynn showed me one of her favorite places, a ballet studio. After we did some dancing, I went back home to do more unpacking. I came across this gown by Siss Boom and got sidetracked–of course! The skirt swirls beautifully while dancing.
BTW–the colors in the background were all done with in-world lighting with just hint of pink overlay in Photoshop. I don’t think I could repeat the accidental magic.
